Carpi, home of Simet, has been one of Italy's most important textile districts since WWII. The region focuses mainly on knitted fabrics. Inspiration enough for machine manufacturer Simet. The company makes unwinding machines, motorizations and automation solutions for knitted fabrics. In the mid-1970s they developed the first winding machines, initially for domestic use and laboratories, later increasingly industrially. Meanwhile, winding machines also joined the range.
